OMG... last night I was lying in bed planning what my new workout routine is going to be... I was getting so excited... the problem was that I then could not get to sleep! I have set up my workout routine and you can check out the videos I will be following on my YouTube channel, just click the link on the top tab...
I am a morning exerciser person...but due to going to bed so incredibly late last night I didn't get up in time this morning, not a great start but I have plenty of time to do it this evening. I have pretty good level of fitness but just no strength so am so excited to start toning up, tightening up and adding some muscle to my body!
Monday's will be all about the Legs and the Kettlebell... I am no longer a member of the gym (on a budget since buying a holiday home in Spain - fair swap in my mind!) so all my workouts will be done at home and with minimal equipment, I am the proud owner of 3 kettlebells, 1 skipping rope and a set of standard weights. For this reason I look for workouts that are easy to do but still require you to work every part of your body!
This is the workout I will be doing tonight (normally in the morning before work) it will be around 45 minutes in total and am sure I will be pretty sore tomorrow! I have only recently discovered the Tone It Up girls but really like them, they don't take themselves too seriously but obviously know what they are doing!
Dinner tonight is really yummy and I can't wait, although I do my best to stick to unprocessed foods at the moment the Man and I are eating up our freezer and cupboards.... we cook all our meals and never eat ready meals, we try and have veg with every dish and where I can I try and have minimal or no carbs during the week. Tonight's dinner is a bit like a stew...
I am doing: Sausages, Red Kidney beans, chopped tomatoes with cous cous.
The sausages will be cooked in with the kidney beans and tomatoes so won't be fried at all and will be cooked slowly over a low heat so the flavors really come out, I will also be adding some herbs and chilli to spicen it up and make it nice and warm, cous cous is of course quite a healthy grain and is really low in fat as well as incredibly filling! Can't wait!
